The Abounding Hope family is held close together through our relationships within the community.

We have for a very long time now sewn into Siyaphambili Creche located in Masinenge (one of South
Africa’s poorest settlements) and have had the privilege to see it grow into what it is today.

Meet the ladies who help cater to the community

In the heart of one of South Africa’s poorest communities lies a pre-school that looks to better the community in which it situated.

Along with providing an entry level of education to the kids of the community, right behind the building of Siyaphambili Crèche you will find the Abounding Hope Soup Kitchen. Catering to the I’ll of the community, the soup kitchen lies true to the second word in its name, “Hope”.

Henry keeps it all running smoothly

Meet  our groundsman henry

The heartbeat of Abounding Hope is kept alive by various individuals who give their time to the cause. Amongst one of our most important staff members at our pre-school is none other than Mzwandile Henry Mkhize, our groundsman. Born on the 13th of May in 1967, Henry is originally from the South Coast, having been born and raised in eMabheleni just outside of Hibberdene, near Mthwalume.

Back to school for siyaphambili creche

After a truly well-deserved summer and festive break, the South African academic year resumed on 15 January 2025. With the new year, we welcomed some tiny new precious faces to our creche.

Siyaphambili Creche in Masinenge enrolled over 15 new toddlers for the year 2025, not forgetting the precious years scholars, of whom some will also graduate come the end of the year.
